Macadamia chocolate orange cream

Macadamia cream with a chocolate orange flavour that melts in the mouth. Easy to make with only a little preparation of the macadamia nuts needed. A cream that would make the perfect Vegan Christmas pudding. You can be imaginative with the topping, I chose a raw chocolate and biscuit crumbled over the top. You can add a little booze to 'dinner party' them up and make them in advance for stress free planning.


200g macadamia nuts.

4 tbsp. raw cacao powder.

4 tbsp. orange juice.

2 tbsp.. maple syrup.

Topping - Choose from raw chocolate, biscuit, fresh berries, seeds or nuts.

Make me a creamy pud:

  1. Soak your macadamia nuts in a bowl of water for at least 12 hours.
  2. Puree the soaked nuts with the cacao powder, maple syrup and orange juice until a smooth cream is formed.
  3. Decant into individual ramekins, cover and chill.
  4. When you are ready to eat, uncover and top with your flavours of choice.
