Wholesome, sticky chocolate cake with no butter or processed sugar. Its practically healthy....well its wholesome. Natural ingredients that make for a sweet treat. The addition of peanut butter, banana and Greek yoghurt makes the cake moist and tasty. Raw cacao powder provides the rich chocolate taste. Using our raw powder means maximum nutrients so you are duty bound to have a slice.
This cake is also really easy to make (I'm no star baker). I topped mine with dates and a little raw chocolate it was delicious.
170g Greek yoghurt
2 Tbsp. Peanut butter
1 Tsp Vanilla extract
200g Plain flour
40g Raw Cacao
1 1/2 Tsp Baking powder
Preheat your oven to 176°C: Gas Mark 4
Put the banana, yoghurt, honey, vanilla and peanut butter in a blender and whizz into a smooth paste.
Transfer to a bowl and beat in the egg.
Then beat in the flour, cacao and baking powder
Tip into a greased cake tin and bake for around 25 minutes
Your cake is ready when a knife comes out clean.
