Orange and carrot smoothie


This orange and carrot smoothie is packed full of vitamin C for an immune system boost. The key player is beta carotene supplied by the bright orange, carrot, and mango. Beta carotene is the precursor to vitamin A production and  essential to skin, eye and reproductive health.

The celery is a great source of fibre and cuts through the sweet veg and fruit.   

Serves 2

Shopping list:

1 orange

1 large carrot

2 sticks of celery

50g mango

200ml water

Simply blend: 

  1. Peel and roughly chop the carrot and orange.
  2. Peel and slice the mango
  3. Chop the celery  
  4. Put everything (plus some ice) in a blender with the water and blend until smooth.
