Chocolate Chia Pudding

I love chocolate and pudding but try to abstain from the packaged variety due to its high sugar content. Actually, the longer you go without sugary food the less tolerant you are to sweet things. Or to put it another way you don’t need to add much sweetness to a dish to really appreciate the taste.

This treat contains only natural, whole food ingredients and satisfies the craving we sometimes have for a pud. Leave a couple in the fridge for a weekend….


100ml Coconut milk

2 Dates

3 tbsp of Raw Cacao Powder

2 tbsp of Chia Seeds

Blend the dates with a little of the coconut milk.

Add this to the remainder of the milk and stir in the cacao Powder

Stir in the Chia seeds and mix well before covering and transferring to the fridge to set
